superb!

now if Yahoo! will finally take my advice and buy FindWhat then all will be grand.

FindWhat stock has made my uncle and myself a pretty penny. i quit using them for ppc bout 2 years ago... cause of all the spam clicks a competitor was generating.

...but back to Yahoo!,... if they bought FindWhat now, they would have the ppc technology and strong market share to enable them to tell Overture good-bye and pick-up even more profit... that is unless Overture is willing to keep the pot super duper drippy sweet for Yahoo.

we'll see, but for the long haul i think Y! is better off to supply themselves.

I think Y! will soon go the way of 100% paid inclusion.

And the price tag is going to be hefty. Y! will turn into a directory of the top 1M or so sites, leaving others to handle the indexing of the bottom 80%.

I have a feeling Yahoo! are going to develop their own inhouse ppc/sponsored link program. After all, it is a money spinner so why outsource it. i would anyway if I was them. Probably a lot of investment and patent crap to go through mind.

I would agree - well i think that they will BRAND their own, but I don't think they will reinvent the wheel.

I never thought we would see the end of Yahoo and always expected it to make a comeback. They are not over proud, by that I mean - they realised when they were defeated by google, so rather than try and compete straight away they started using google - which looks like they won't be doing anymore at the end of this year....

You can call it sly, but its more of a cunning plan imo....

and all above is over course is imo!
