Yup, it's very similar to vivisimo.com which I've been using for some time now. It differs on details. It could be a test to find out which "algo" users like...

It's a great one for the G haters too (I'm not one of those BTW), because it uses lots of SE, bar google...

Hehe, me too, thanks to looksmart and ODP by the way. For quick SEO-related info vivisimo has a slight edge though... it not only shows you the SEs contributing to each hit, but also the ranking of that hit on each of those SEs. Nice and quick way to spot any movement....

But never mind that, this is a SE to look for things, not to use for SEO purposes...

Both of my blogs are ranked #1 for their most important keywords.

Being in Looksmart and DMOZ appears to really count for a lot in Clusty.

Alot of spam here not even close to using as a serch engine. It is not that I don't come up I do very well, I just see sites that have no place even in the top 1000000 much less top spots.

I like clusty.com - I think they've done a good job of amalgamting results and keeping relevance. I haven't noticed as much of the off-topic, spam style sites, but I haven't spent a great deal of time on them. I'll keep watching them, although a shiny nickel says they get bought in the next 6 months.

Could be, but perhaps only if that was the intention. Clusty is a vivisimo derivate, and owned (?) by Looksmart.

they focus on? title's? links? indexed page count?
