Yahoo

Why is it that Yahoo are absolutely hammering my site at the moment ? There is 30 spiders in there all day everyday and its been this way for about 2 weeks. I seem to remember something similar around this time last year before they calmed off again. Is it the case that Yahoo do a big annual crawl then come less frequently thereafter ?
