Linkwalker is the robot for a service that checks for broken links and then sends a report to the webmaster. They give a free trial, which I tried and liked, and then you can get the service on a subscription basis. I haven't as yet subscribed to the service but it was amazing how many broken links they turned up both on my site and linking to my site from other sites. I don't think that I am allowed to post the name of the company as that would be advertising but I am sure that a search for linkwalker will turn it up.

I see your point, but this thread still comes up #1 for LinkWalker. I am wondering if this is the name Xenu Link Sleuth uses for their spider. Could that be correct?
