Lightbulb Newbie Question: Google crawling my site every 2 days

Hi there,

I'm a noob. I recently installed SpyderTrax on my site and found google there 6 times in the last 2 weeks. What does this mean and is it good?

Thanks!

but why so many times. I'm not sure that it takes that many times to index it. I would think once would be enough.

Any explinations?

thanks!

Well man..
This is normal.. google visits sites almost every day even if your site is well indexed.. Also if your site is new.. it will take few time to get your site indexed in google.. try to go for lots of Backlinks..

google is lonely.
its a lonely job roaming the internet...knocking on site doors...seeing if anyone is home...looking around...taking notes...going through your sock drawers...
it takes time and many visits.

SpyderTrax is installed in server or in different site? I have a dedicated and it hosts a few sites. Should I install to each site directory?
How do I unzip tgz file?

Thank you for you great insight!
