Which email address when submitting?

Many search engines such as AltaVista & All The Web now ask for an email address when submitting. I am submitting for someone else & need to know if it matters which email address I include on the submission form. Does it have to be an email address related to the URL or doesn't it matter? Help greatly appreciated.

I always use a throw away account (hotmail...) when submitting. You're gauranteed to get spam.

It dosn't matter. I can't see any benefits in using their forms. With enough links to your site they will come around just as soon. Time is money, and submitting is not time well spent.

get google and yahoo to pick up your site and the rest falls into place.
[essentially...get a couple of good pr links to your site.]
