Hello People,

What exactly are press releases and how can they help in promoting a site. Is it something related to latest happenings.
I am a bit confused. Can anyone help me out.

press release are like articles that says details about something, given to the media.. it can help promoting sites by submitting it to some press release sites.

Press releases are when you sensationalize something, aiming to hoard in attention (and visitors) to your site. You write a short but glamorous article that includes primary details - just enough to make them want to read about the whole thing.

Usually done to sensationalize anything that is new. On the web, it is a way to promote a new site or feature by submitting to press release sites.

May draw traffic but has less or none SEO benefits...

Press release is a news which is about any new event that occurs currently(It must be latest) but when u post Press Release some informations are must like your date when even occured,comapany name,contact information-address,mail id,phone number

& dnt use all Capital letters in Title ,always follow guidelines when u submit Press Release or anything otherwise thr are lots of chances that your submission will be rejected or not be listed
