trafficswarm

Has anybody heard of/used !trafficswarmfor bringing traffic.

I recently received a newsletter with an article titled : Top 10 Traffic Sources.

This was listed number 2 just behind Affiliates, and before SEO and Paid Advertising!

Are you happy with them? What kind of technology do they offer? Back door, shadow technlogy, affiliation partnership?

No. Not at all they have this personalized framed url that you have to set as your start up page. Everytime you open a browser you get points for accessing the url. It is slow loadind and probably wastes a good 3 seconds everytime you open it (believe me it adds up) As you gain points they display your link in frames for someone else. I have gained a total of 2000 points and maybe 50 hits all from people who are only trying to gain hits themselves. Pretty pointless actually and more anoying then anything else.

TrafficSwarm

I found it depends on what I'm selling or offering.

At first I did not have much success with TrafficSwarm but
after I worked on my subject line and description text copy,
I have made quite a few sales and even more affiliates have
signed up.

I count TS as one of my better sources now.

Good Luck.

It is not traffic for traffic's sake. Relevant traffic with conversions is where it is at. Why waste your time?

I agree with frankybme, people visit your site because they want to gain points, so you get traffic, but you can not sell anything

I saw something about this ages ago, and it seemed too good to be true, so I assumed it was.

sounds like I was right.

These kinds of programs are best for to collect email address for providing somethings for free. For example, free ebooks, reports, tutorials etc.... I do the same by providing this free traffic exchange tutorial

These get points for letting other people sites load are pathetic.

1. The sites could be backdoored and you catch a virus
2. More importantly, you get more hits...(which just waste your bandwidth up and could (depending on your circumstances) cost you at the end of the day you to get more bandwidth or your account get suspended)...

YOU ARE NOT GETTING ANYMORE UNIQUE VISITORS BY USING THESE

(You actually get your email address sold on and receive loads of SPAM)

How do i know that? i dont sign up with an hotmail account so i dont know where they are coming from i actually buy a cheap domain and get all email forwarded to another account when i check who these SPAM emails were sent to, it wasnt my hotmail account (which i have those emails forward to) it was %schemename%@%cheapdomain%.com proof that spam came from that address from that scheme, i didnt give out that email address to anyone else.

Dan

p.s. As a HOST myself clients are prohibited to using those SPAM techniques, it creates unneccessary use on the server (especially when they get there mates to contribute and everyone else using the scheme) and is classed as a Hack/DoS/DDoS Attack, those accounts get suspended and contents wiped without refund or prior notice. This is the same with many other hosts, check the AUP/ToS before you think of joinign thsoe schemes.

You need a customer relationship. Give something away for free, if it is actually good then what ever your doing might work out.
