Hi everyone,
I'd like to share with you the problem I have and perhaps some webmasters face with the same problem as I do. So....I'm sure all of you know about http://inventory.overture.com/d/sea...ory/suggestion/ system. Fill in a keyword 'autoresponder' and you'll get a keyword 'automatic responder" at #1 and 'email automatic responder' at # 3. My project at #1 position for both keywords. My question is why I do have very little traffic from those keywords? Yes, I do not expect to get sales only because of I'm number one. As people compare before purchasing and it's not necessary they have to choose my product. By why they don't click? We've set a good tracking software, which meets P3P Policies requirements so I'm not missing clicks from Google. And, you see, I can count like several clicks a day, not more. Any ideas - why? |

I think that #2 has a title tag and description that begs you to click....
"Automatic responder....Get an UNLIMITED amount today! Automatic responder Get an unlimited amount and start using them seconds from now! No waiting!! Tell a friend about our site! " They are kicking your butt with powerful marketing. I have some #2, #3, #4 positions that do really well (and that would cost me an awful lot of energy to defeat a very high PR site at the top) - I don't worry about being lower than #1 - instead I steal sales from the #1 site by putting a dynamite price in my title tag or "immediate shipping", etc. You can increase your traffic by learning from #2. I like their approach and will try some thing similar myself. The #4 site is pretty good too.... "How to Use an Automatic Responder for Effective Prospect Follow- ... ... About #4, I believe I'm talking to a target group I don't need to teach something or proof. Like it was several years ago when email marketing was new and we had to tell them how it's great. Do you believe we still have to go this way?

actually I didn't really want to become number 1:-) it happened by chance. I believe being on the first page is good enough.

New people enter the autoresponder market every day. I'll bet that the growthrate is quite high. I don't know much about them but realize that they might serve me well. In that case I would be looking for basic instructions and ideas on how to use them effectively.
