Resubmitting

I've read a few places you should re-submit your website to google
one every few months.

Now yes, I know it crawls you and dances and does backflips...

But, would re-submitting do anything for you?

Other than maybe get the Great Google a bit *issed off nothing. Remember it isn't nice to *iss off the Great Google, it may not Ooogle your pages if you do.

Un Google Ooogled pages never dance and quickly decay into Google Decay Products usable only as land fill material.

I disagree, if resubmitting your site too often meant that your site would be removed from the Google index then all those dishonest webmasters out there would be submitting their competition's URL's twenty times a day so that Google removes them from spamming. Google had to stop that rule a while ago, resubmitting doesn't do anything, I assume Google ignores resubmits. (That's if freshbot even uses the information from that form anymore).

Instead -- develop a few links -- Googlebot will find you quicker.

Posted 20+ new sites in the past year -- never submitted one, just quickly added a few reciprocals, and a few days later - there's the bot!

I threw my site out there and made one IM next day freshy had visited. Yep just get yourself some links and the rest takes care of itself.

Just don't do anything to raise a flag red blue or purple, SE's are our best buddies.

i never resubmit.....i check my stats (acces_log) and see
and check what pages are updated, or added...etc etc

once your main page is indexed google will visit again...
just keep your links working...
