We have often outsourced content writing for clients to companies and freelancers in the Philippines, the quality is usually more than acceptable and usually they are more professional than Indian companies.

fathom disagrees: You don't seem to have been around long (9 months) to make such reasonable claims!

I doubt your claims are accurate... I mean you can vouch for the freelancers in the Philippines but to say they are usually more professional than Indian companies suggests that you have experience with 1000s of Indian companies (which is but a fraction of those involved) that are (in your experience) less professional.

I would suggest anyone jumping at this to ask for evidence of your claim first... as I read post as merely "a self-serving plug" rather than a vouch!

I was wondering if this practice is really beneficial, and if someone uses it, how much should I pay for it.

I thought I would throw in a link to a related post in another thread that parallels this discussion on: supplemental results

One of the advantages of administring over 6 bulletin boards, 8 article repositories, 25 directories, and 40+ blogs -- you get a wide 'lens' on informational changes in Google.

To the one who disagrees. What makes you assume that the longer you have been on seochat the longer you have been in the seo business? So everyone who started SEO today registers the same day on SEO chat?? Otherwise if you are referring to my website age how do you know that I started SEO with that site?

A question was asked about outsourcing and I gave the answer based on my personal experience, I guess you don't need to spend a year on seochat before participating in discussions???

Look. I am giving an opinion on what I have found from personal experience. From the few Indian companies I have dealt with and the few Philippino ones, the ratio of satisfied experiences has been much much higher with the later, especially when it comes to article writing. This doesn't mean that Indian companies in general are not professional, and for SEO outsourcing industry in India is far far ahead of the Philippines. But the fact is the sheer number of companies there make it difficult to digg out the best.

I wonder what you could sell to a bot? Has any member had a bot buy something from them? Writing content for bots is about as sensible as making posters for blind people to look at.. This stratergy will sell you nothing. If one of those pages of crap does managed to get indexed and rank for something...what is the person entering your site going to think..... Getting a bot to visit more often does not help rankings... people do not link to crappy content...Focus your efforts on things that can help rather than distractions and trivial things that start like "If all other things are equal.....than this may help......every tinny weeny tinny little bit helps... Create content that will genrate qulaity links and watch your serps improve...
