I have i website of finance domain forex to be precise, PR4 I am desperately looking forward to your ideas to increase visitors presently i have 2500 daily visits but need to double it.



I don't believe in banner ads as they have very low efficiency, have tried ppc but not very desired results achieve,

can any one give some realistic methods to achieve higher visitor base? Any marketing strategy?

what you can do is ..

directory submission: But dont submit on every directory. Only relevant ones and also check th ip address before submitting...

or organise a scheme or some catchy message and post it on forums...as many forums as you can cover...

Don't spam forums. Try to re-check your optimization. Maybe adding content to your site, optimized for multiple long tail KW's (less competitive) will help.

My opinion is do social networking like facebook, twitter, linked in and my space. another method is email marketing. email marketing is the direct marketing technique, you can directly approach viewers to visit your website.
Do google group posting that will help to get vistors.
