How to submit Website?

Hi,
I have a website, and want to submit it on thousand and thousand other websites and trying this from last many months, but fail. I have seen other website has many thousand links. I am still confused how they are getting these links?

Does any one have an idea? Please let me know, how I can build a link for my only website. Is there any software they are using, please help me in this

2. Directory Submission - This is also not very much effective, but submission to theme related directories can be effective.

Directory submission. There are lot of free directories in this forum. Try to use the search on the upper right part of this forum and you can find lots of directories.

You are talking about back links , yes it is true that there are no of sites which have thousand of back links .. and even you can reach that limit .. but it requires time and patience .. and now u will be asking how do ...

1)Link Exchanges .. ( Exchange links with relevant sites only so that you get ranks / traffic ) Keep rotating the kwds

2) Do Directory Submissions ( Submit your site in directories so that other webmaster can contact you for link exchange and also submitting to top most directories will help you for ranks

3) Article Submissions : Do article Submissions for your website .. don't forgot rotating keywords according to your theme.

4) Create Blogs : Create Blogs put content ... keep on updating .. dont forgot to link kwd from content to your site .. otherwise it will not help you

5) Viral Marketing : Word of mouth etc

Directory submission is one of the cheap and best way for link building, you should use updated seo friendly directories list from any service provider site.

Remember, it's not quantity of links as much as it is quality. 1 relevant quality link is worth more than 1,000 crappy directory listings. Anyone trying to push Directory listings as being the end all be all is selling something. Example: the last post by thinkfast.

How do you get quality backlinks? Find relevant websites that are authorities (respected) and get a 1 way link within their content with your keywords as the anchor.

Find sites that get a lot of traffic, and you win on all fronts. You'll gain traffic as well as link juice.

How do you get these links from the webmaster? Build a relationship and/or give something to them (not money). Give them some content that will help their site, give them a review, give them praise, whatever. The best links are ones you don't have to ask for because your site deserves them and the site linking to you is better off with your link. These natural links are attracted to good sites. That's where most webmaster fall short. It's damned hard to get a link from a respected site to a crappy site.

With a really top-notch, quality, valuable site, link building consists more of promotion than scrounging for links.
