How to promote press releases?

please help me to get maximum exposure of my press release....

Well Press releases as a rule are not a huge help in general. They have a couple of advantages and it depends on what you are going after

1. They can in them self rank for some competitive terms, though it is short lived
2. They offer a little link juice, good for getting pages indexed (though there are better ways)
3. if they are REALLY news and submitted through reputable wire services they can be HUGE. they can really help set off a new business or product, or website, nut you need to have something really interesting, like something a journalist might actually phone you one, or write a piece about.

So my best suggestion for maximum exposure is to use a paid wire service, one which distributes to print as well as electronic media, and have an actually newsworthy story.


Free/low cost/bulk submitters offer little to no value, even for a newsworthy story...
