How do I get backlinks from articles?

I'd like to try to get some backlinks by posting an article. I already have it created, but im not sure what to do next. Ive read lists of article submission sites, but im not sure how that would generate a back link. If I post to those sites and someone cuts and pastes the article, how does that transelate into a link. Also the article i have has 3 or 4 pictures included with it that are neccessary for the article. Whats the best aproach to turn this into some links.

You can get article links through adding them as HTML links in your author bio.

Just work a little hard to write original articles and simply post them.

It's good if you can write the content yourself, that way you know it's a unique article. Then there are many sites that will submit your articles for you, or you can buy a program that you can use to manually submit your articles. This is usually better than paying to have it put out there. Many article directories are edited manually, and if the ariticle submission appears spammy and there are certain fields missing, your submission may be deleted and not appear in the directory.

All you have to do is include your links in the resource or bio box. Almost all of the article sites have this as a field on the article submission form.

Try to write something that makes people want to click your link.
"For more information on growing roses, click here: yoursite.com" is way more effective than something like "Joe Smith loves to garden and runs a gardening site at yoursite.com".

Article Submissions Services

I am using three most popular article syndication services:

(URL address blocked: See forums rules)
(URL address blocked: See forums rules)
(URL address blocked: See forums rules)

Also, you can submit your article manually in more than 500 niche article directories. They allow 3 links per article so, you can market 3 most relevant keywords for your website.

Hopefully will help you.

Use a nice resource box at end of your article with your
Anchor text using the keywords that you are competing for and it will lead to your site. Your site first of all will get a backlink from that article site using your primary keywords and then if your article is sticky/useful to other sites then it will be spread on other sites and your backlinks will increase.

Write as many articles as you can and try to use different keywords so you can rank well not just in 1 keyword!

at the author's resource box or you can place a link of your site at the article's body.

- there are two most important place:
* resources box
* expert or authors bio (try to get more article in the same directory which will help you to get more chance to get high page rank to your article and your bio web page).
