Can anyone recommend a white hat directory submission service?

I signed up with one service a while back and I noticed that they had a lot of directories that practiced triangular linking. Obviously, I want to stay away from that type of directory submission service.

Can anyone recommend a service that submits to hundreds of directories, over a long period of time (not all at once) and uses unique directories (no triangular linking)?

Thanks!

The service does not have to be automatic. I would prefer manually. What's not white hat about submitting to directories? I'm sure search engines don't have a problem with that. As a matter of fact, the one site that I did use the directory submission service doubled it's traffic and hasn't lost momentum since. And to top it all off I haven't done any other types of promotion to it. Therefore I have this one variable little study going on that says directory submission are a good thing to do for SEO. Now I would like to take it further by finding a better service that doesn't use triangular linking - just in case in the future I get dinged for having my site on directories that practice triangluar linking.
