Would a dofollow link from Christianpost would hurt a ecommerce fashion store?

Would it be appropriate to have a guest post from Christianpost for a ecommerce fashion store?

Can you provide a reason for that site to link to you, without stretching the truth, such that the link provides value to it's readers. That is always the first question I ask myself when I go link hunting.

    Hi easywebpkl

Everything you mentioned in your post, is ok except for the use of DA / PA. Those are moz metrics, not Googles'. Hence Google doesn't use them!!

G does not use every link it can identify in its search ranking algo.

A link such as you describe would probably be ignored by G as it would seem to offer no relevance to any search query about a fashion e-commerce store.

This is where Moz and other SEO tools fall down. They do not know what links G includes in its ranking assessment of any search query. Their DA and PA metrics can not, to my knowledge measure search ranking importance for a specific query.

Forget DA and PA numbers, use your eyeballs and brain.

Agree, but another question if the other site is genuine then they never linkback to your site if you don't provide any value to their read also,
You do your business I do mine because you are you and I am I If we meet it is nice.

For me it looks pretty legit, and can provide value. I guess it all depends on the quality and content of the article (I imagine that you can write something to tie up christians and fashion/clothes).

I don't think so, there is nothing related to fashion if you visit the christianpost website.

I guess it all depends on the quality and content of the article

What kind of quality are you talking about when you are going post on the irrelevant website?
