who is the real seo?

the rzBot spotted this interesting bit of web copy copying:

this site has 4 paragraphs talking about 'florida' events by mer/rick loz/ano:
searchvisibilityreport.com/archives/000028.html

this page has the same exact 4 paragraphs promoting an seo company allegedly written by ste/ven hor/owitz:
[no other credit is given]
seospecialists.net/

who is the expert and who is the plagiarizer?
are they one and the same people?
did horo/witz get permission?
if so...why didnt he credit loz/ano?

"bettering your traffic"

I just got spam from seospecialists.com, from Steve hor/owitz.

They dont even rank on the first page for seo specialists.

So wasn't going to bother posting or blogging on the subject.

I just typed in seospecialist dot com and the website did not even come up.

perhaps the backlash from the spam he sent out caused him to rethink his business strategy.

Cool

keep in mind seospecialists dot com are not targeting us. They are targeting any website owner (also known as sucker).

If you think it's hard selling SEO think again. SPAM mail works (I hate it) and based on the way some owners dish out cash their an easy target.

Put it this way I developed a product lets say kind of like

igetnet.com..... except I made it better (HEHE)

A company I built it for eneded up bilking over $900,000 in less than 3 months for product with little or no userbase. Web owners sometimes buy into everything.

Oh yea by the way if you ask SEO-guy about it mention Trafficwords dot com and watch him grumble. We both got the shaft from that company/owner.

But remember most scam artest get it in the end. I have rarely seen success last long.

Sadly this is quite true I've lost count of the businesses we've met that have handed over upto $1000 a year for "guaranteed top ten listings in over 400 search engines" it's unbelievable what they get for this one was "optimised" for something like BadCreditMortgagesApplications (I forget the exact term now - but note no spaces). What amazed us was that not one of them had checked their traffic until we asked them as part of our sales process for thier new website.

Regards, S
