What impact has the 4 pack ads had on your clicks?

Personally we've had a 10% drop in clicks through to our site, I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced a drop at this level?

For me, organic CTR has slightly improved since the 4 pack ads rolled out, granted it's a small window in GSC.

What's most noticeable is my Adwords performance. I'm getting excellent return and slightly increased ad spend. My search ads average at position 2.7.
I looked at my search campaigns last week vs the week before (again a small data set) and I'm seeing an 8% increase in clicks, 7.5% increase in CTR and a 24.7% increase in conversion rate.

Shopping ads are seeing a negligible decrease in conversion rate and click through rate.

Our traffic from organic search just keeps dropping, down 20% on pre 4 pack ads. Doesn't seem to actually be related to (from what I can see) the 4 pack ads coming in.

That does sound like you have something else going on. Do you know what landing pages are losing traffic?

Annoyingly - all of them. However our overall position hasn't changed massively. It looks as if it could be a drop in interest overall. I'll wait for a few more days for search console to giev me a proper overview and i'll let everyone know.

Is your site impacted by seasonality? Check your organic traffic this time last year to see if there is a similar pattern.

Not seasonal, it's a large ecommerce site that has reasonable search volumes all year round.

I also noticed a drop of 20 to 22% in organic traffic from 23rd Feb 2016. I also compare the traffic from last year the drop is 20%. I hope the 4 PPC ads on the top are not impacting the traffic so much. I also checked the webmaster tool for any manual web spam penalty and search analytics, everything is fine there. I am unable to find the reason. My website is providing IT training certification for professionals.

I have noticed a significant increase in my CTR due to the changes in ad position but don't see any changes in the organic traffic.

It's going to get worse before it gets better. Google continually pushes companies off teh first page. Learn how to turn a positive ROI with paid search until the storm is over.

We do already so this hasn't really hit us much.

Overall looking at a larger amount of data, our clicks have dropped by approx 10%.

Afraid not, we've been in the top 1-3 for most of our paid ads anyway.

One of my clients is experiencing a 24% drop in organic traffic. It just doesn't seem to as a result of anything else other than this change.
