Um... what are you doing on an SEO forum, never mind writing blog posts on SEO services (I see your other threads) I mean:
You are connected to the internet.
You can't figure out on your own what FTP means.
Forget blogging you need an internet for dummies book.

    Probably not

About FTP and blogs: a proper blog doesn't really need fancy FTP tricks.

Also, you don't need ANY software to make an FTP connection. For instance, Windows users can just open an Explorer window and enter the FTP address in the address bar. Then go to the File menu in the menu bar and log on. Simple.

I agree with you too Dzine but if one has to save time by just drag and drop of files that cant be easily done via logging in to FTP via address bar.

Windows Explorer - yes it can.

I think one should go for FileZilla for free instead of typing in address bar or testing explorers. Need your thoughts.

I click on a single shortcut and I have FTP access to all my online files. A single click. No extra software needed.

And if you MUST use FTP software (which I doubt) then that's wrong with the old classic CuteFTP?

In other words: why should I not ban anyone mentioning F*leZ*lla in this thread once more?
I don't get it. Who needs it?

    Hey,

Its just a general discussion regarding the software. Why would you ban anyone on mentioning name basis?

No Offense to anyone here guys as everyone has their own opinions.

    Merry Christmas

People keep dropping the name of this 13-in-an-dozen bit of software, in a thread that's based on non-info, and then no-one seems to be able to explain WHY this piece of superfluous software is so "great". That's why.

Everyone has his/her own preferences. But I suspect there is NO REASON whatsoever why I or anyone else should ever:
    - install File*illa in particular
    - use FTP besides the blog dashboard.

CMS, MEH! In the old days we used to have to walk 4 miles uphill in the snow to get a file transferred to a server. You guys are soft!!

    Hey,

I was just sharing my experience of using that software.

    Cheers

As I said earlier: yours was a fine answer. But you weren't really sharing info: your message was one-sided and you added no reason. For all we know, you have never tried anything else. The other option is that you are plugging F***zilla. Which one is it?
