    Website Progression

Hi, im a newbie and im getting a bit overwhelmed by the information regarding setting up the blog. im sure that
when people start off they tend to have very few articles , and their designs would be much different from
what they have started? do people start off with hefty number of articles at the start? or can they progress
with few articles for SEO purpose? and the most important thing is that what would the layout be
at the start of the website design, im sure they wont be any homepage displaying articles from different
categories as there are only few articles so do we keep the blog page as the front page? please explain guys! thanks

It is your website. You have control over what you want your website to look like. You can check out similar niche sites for ideas. Just remember that your website should look aesthetically good, SEO-friendly, and can be viewed on PC and mobile.

As for the content, no you do not need to place a lot of content at once. You can start with a few and add new articles once you go along with your marketing.

I start out with one blog post...

But be warned, if you do not have a static home page, your blog will experience ups and down in SERPs after each new post.

You can start with a basic design and can change it later. The number of posts doesn't matter so you can start with as many articles as you want. Also, there is a widely accepted fact that Google places every new website in a filter where they are allowed to mature before their actual indexing starts. This filter is called Sandbox. So, it is vital that you timely update your blog with good content.Furthermore, if you provide any service or product, you need to have a homepage on your website, but it is fine only to have a blog page when you just have content to offer. You can categorize the content on your blog page itself.
