URGENT...I need to cut down as long url searchengine won't recognize
Hi wizards,How r u doing guyz..got a strange problem..we are doing SEO for one our clients..it seems this website auto generated and has huge shopping database..u know the total URL length is more then 300 charecters.,my immediate task involve.
1.I have to remove '@' symbol which is generating in the URL of BV_SessionID in both front and back here's is the complete URL's http://www.mysite.com/myfolder/store/main_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0039456662.10929126 93@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccceadclmelklghcflgceggdhhmdfhm.0&chain=mysite&channel=WEB&browserName=ie&browserVersion=6&platform=pc&firstrun=yes&page=Home×tamp=11:51:33&page=Home&chain=mysite& channel=WEB×tamp=11:51:33&browserName=ie&browserVersion=6& platform=pc

Why not use mod_rewrite rules to get rid of all the params and a user agent detect when serving SID's so that if Googlbot, not SID's Shouldnt be to difficult how comfortable are you with your .htacess and mod_rewrite?
