Talking Unbelievable Yahoo Rankings After 5 weeks - Check it out!
Hey all -- Using all I know about current SEO stuff (including what I was able to learn on this site) I finally got my site indexed and it was crawled off of a link- In yahoo I have # 1 in numorous keyphrases - and the coveted top twenty in dozens more - this is significant as we are competing in San Diego - (5th largest city in the country)

Yahoo is great for less compedative terms. I was able to get a #1 ranking for three yahoo terms in about 30 days.

That's good that you've done so well with these terms, however, and I hate to burst your bubble, these terms are not competative in the least. Try doing an exact match search on any of those terms in Y and you'll see what I mean. For example, if you do an exact match on the first term, you will get "Results 1 - 1 of about 1".

The only reason that I rain on your parade is that a false sense of success in this business is fatal.

great work, however these keywords are indeed not competitive, try harder, get No.1 on "san diego"!
