Two index pages
I have website its having two Index page. that is index1.htm and index2.htm. Contents and designs are same ..is it effect negatively for my site?Is it spamming?

Exclude the page that you don't want SEs to crawl from search engines thru robots.txt.

i don't think so. but i think you must have one home page, i mean one major page that will redirect users to index1.htm or index 2.htm
and as they said, you can use robot.txt |

either one of the page could result to supplemental...
you can use robot.txt if you don't want to crawl and indexed the page that you don't want include in the SERP... juts like what radhikaV said.. |
