I think it depends on the keyword. If the keyword you choose it too competitive, you'll be getting a hard time optimizing for that keyword. Anyways, I suggest you to use that keyword as an anchor text, maybe it help.

in my view the first page ranking is depends upon the target keyword and your quality of site and backlinks

so ranking your keyword in first page within 10 days is possible.....

googler,if you are referring PPC then it is right, otherwise I don't know how it is possible through organic search.

In a "trusted domain" it is almost a given... for moderately competitive phrases -- 3 days - absolutely possible...

That said: Jagjit Singh domain isn't likely one of these
