Because half the Major Search Engines (Datebases) now acknowledge Meta Keywords (with the changeover of Yahoo!, and MSN dropping Looksmart for more Organic prominance)
The "Coma" of Meta Keywords during Google's dominance - seems to have taken a 180 degree turn, with prominence not seen since pre-Google. To Comma - or Not to Comma - for greater SERPs Keyword Postions... That is the question :-?

Seochat comes up #1 in google for "seo forum" and they use commas...
I don't think that it makes much difference. I use commas because I think it looks better. - Mike T. |

I don't use commas cuz I think it makes it easier for SE to find any combo KW phrase in ant order. Course when it comes to Goooooooooogle, she is looking for the actual words on the page anyway pretty much so it does not really matter.
