Question Targeting an odd or mis-spelled keyword

I've found some key word/phrases with high KEI's related to my page/business but I can't imagine packing them into the body of my web page to achieve the keyword density I need just because they sound so silly. I know some people might be searching for those terms but they'll just look rediculous on my page and most likely look 'bad' to a viewer of my page who knows better.

It seems that any good SEO should start with keyword density in the body of at least the first page. Is this not true?

Perhaps someone could rank in order of importance or weight, what strategies one would concentrate on?

keyword density isn't that important on Google, but Yahoo does prefer high keyword density. To improve ranking, you don't have to increase keyword density for all the words in users' search terms, just focus on some of the keywords that make sense on your pages. Other option you can use is to use internal anchor text or link text to highlight those search terms.
