First of all you should listing your websites according to country, then you have to find some blogs and forums and post on them.

If you are only to do this for a few months I personally wouldn't use webmaster tools for this.

To achieve what you want to do, why not set up a new website on a subdomain with your country tld i.e: uk.mydomain.com and do a 302 from your main to the uk.mydomain.com.

This will tell search engines that it is temporary, plus you may benefit from the country code in your subdomain.

Just my 2 cents on this.

In all the above suggestions, would it not be easier and simpler, to get traffic from specific countries by writing country specific articles?
