Look at the quality of links, plus the internal link structure - pages with PR6. Quality links trumps quantity of links.

I would imagine the average to be on the higher side of the scale; A List Apart is rather well thought of.

strange, with the updated version 31.03.03, I see 6560 links!!! before this update 212 links.
