    Question Sudden Drop in Rankings

Ok, I have searched this forum and found some advice on this topic, but I want to ask for more specific advice. My SEO company has a couple of clients that were on the first pages of the SE's and now they aren't. For example, one of our clients was #2 in Google last month and now they are #90. We strictly practice white hat tactics and haven't added too many links too soon, nor are there any weird links to (or from) this site. Any explanation? Anyone else having difficulties like this?

Also, is there any reason why a site, that has never had any sketchy SEO tactics done to it, would be panelized in Yahoo? There are some foreign links going to the site, if this is the reason for being panelized, how do we remove these links (side note - we did not ask to be linked from these sites)? This is one of our better web sites so we are sad to see it have a Google PR of 5 and yet, not show up in Yahoo at all. Very odd and needless to say, it was a crazy day at work today.

As always, thanks in advance for your time and advice! It's truly appreciated.

As I appreciate the info, it doesn't apply. We have no reciprocal links, we aren't buying/selling links nor do we have affiliate links. This article doesn't deal with either of the link questions that I asked about (does Yahoo penalize for foreign links and how to remove links you don't want).

And, like I said before, I did search the entire forum before posting.

Of course we have backlinks but they are all good & relavant, they are not like the ones mentioned in that article. But thank you for suggesting it any way. I appreciate it.

How long has this been missing... did you just check and not find it or has it been missing for a month? Also, how long have these sites been in the google index?
