Sub Domains
I have created a sub domain : blog.domain.com with the intention of writing a blog.
I will be linking to the blog I am wondering if a sub domain is seen as a new website or it will be seen as an extention of my current web site ? Regards Malcolm |

It will be treated as a separate website and you won't have the benefits such as passing of Link juice from your main domain to it. If thats what you need, you should have opted for domain.com/blog

I read somewhere that soon google will be treating subdomains as folders of a website soon. May have been a matt cutts video, not too sure though, cant find the webpage. |
