Sub- Domain / Directory
Hi Guys,
I've just taken on a new website, they offer outdoor activities and indoor team building. Currently they both operate on different websites i.e website1-outdoor / website2-team.
Before I get stuck into anything I'm trying to work out how I should organise this website. Is it worth bringing them both together under a Subdomain or subdirectory?
Thanks Guys,
Dan

That would depend on how they are currently working in terms of traffic, rankings, age and so on?
Also are the two domain brand domain which have been built up over time or are they just keyword domains rather then a brand or authority in the niche?
This isn't a simply change or stay answer in other words, more details would be required to suggest which I or other would do IMO.

Thanks for your reply.
Both the websites reside under:
brandname-adventure
brandname-teamevents
I was thinking if I could tie them both up under a new domain name and then 301 redirect each of the old websites to the relevant sub-domain i.e
adventure.newbrandname
teamevents.newbrandname
Then have a top navigation to move between each site, and a navigation specific to each page under it.
Both domains are exactly the same age, about three years old, I'm going to totally revamp the websites, but am trying to figure the best way to do it also without undoing any of the other seo work done before.
