upon using http://www.webconfs.com/search-engi...r-simulator.php
it showed results called spidered links, does this mean that the spider went through the links and crawled through its pages also or just the link?

The 'spidered links' section displays the links that the Search Engine will be able to crawl when it reaches your page..
There are types of links like Javascript and stuff which a SE does not (cannot) crawl..

This tool helps you see how Search Engine Friendly your page is... :-)
