site:(URL) vs site: (URL)??
Hi,
This is my first time posting and I think this site and the forums are awesome. Keep
up the good work.
My question is regarding finding out how many pages a search engine has indexed for my sites.
When i type in site:ign.com in Google, i get 1,870,000 sites indexed. When I type in site: ign.com with a
space in between the colon and ign, i get 1,290,000 sites indexed. I want to know what the correct
syntax to use to find out the actual number of pages indexed within the search engine.
I'm looking for this information regarding Google, MSN and Yahoo. I'm having the same problem
with all three search engines. Thank you in advance.
