site name always in title, good or bad?
I usually design my site with the site name first and the page content after this. Is this a good or bad practice? Here are some examples of my sites page titles for different pages:
Ferrari Forum - Ferrari Regiser Ferrari Forum - Ferrari Pictures Ferrari Forum - Links Ferrari Forum - xxx page content xxx I almost always design it this way. So is this good or bad? |

Depends upon your goals....
If you are trying to build name recogintion - which is very hard to do - then you should stick with this. If this is your goal then I hope that your site is ferrari-forum.com or something close so that folks can find you without thinking or using search engines. I've thought about this for one of my sites, but I feel that the title tag is too valuable in reaching for additional keywords. I'd rather get exposure in more serps than try for name recognition. |
