Should I stop Search Engines Indexing my Search Result Pages?
I'm just wondering if it makes sense to add noindex, follow to search result pages?
I see my search result pages landing in Search Engines, but rarely see the products that my search results link to.
My thought is if I tell Search Engines to ignore the search result pages, but follow the links and index those pages that I'll see more of my products returned in search engine searches, instead of my own search result pages.
Good example I guess would be wordpress. You can search a site for articles in wordpress. Should those search results be noindex, follow so that the articles are kept while the search results are ignored.
Any comments or opinions on this are appreciated.
