SEO Simple Tips

Hi after having to create a new profile on here I am finally back,

I have recently wrote an article on SEO and some simple tips which people always miss out when trying to get onto any search engine.

OK article nothing new. may I suggest that you spend your time contributing to the value of this forum rather than rehashing what is already available here and then leading users away from SEOCHAT.COM.

The post is obviously self serving masked in a "helpful note". There is a reason why people cant post sigs or links for 30 days or 30 posts. Follow the rules!

Tips for the newbie...

1. Learn to think for yourself... don't believe just because someone wrote it; it's true or helpful.

2. Learn "everything about links" - why some links are important and others are trash, learn how to quickly identify the difference

3. Learn content creation is the driving force of ranks... to be sure links are the gas, oil, tires, and steerage but the content is the engine... without the engine your... well pushing a car on a flat stretch is difficult but it can be done, but have you ever succeeded in pushing your car up a steep hill [e.g. the competitive landscape]... you don't have a chance.

4. Learn that content isn't equal... [I could write a novel here but suffice to say... if it's easy & extremely cost effective - it isn't good enough... it needs to be able to make others "take action".

5. Content titles - title elements and page titles in h1 to h6

6. internal navigation - making pages fit together so they aid ranks not hinder them -- without sacrificing visitor appeal. A link is merely extending the topic elsewhere - conveniently.

7. IGNORE - everything else

8. Ignore tip guides [their mostly wrong]

9. Don't do it even if it sounds good... if you're gonna waste your time - waste it on proving an impact first... that a huge time saver that tipsters forget.

10. 1 -4 are a MUST, 5 & 6 help no question but they won't do a damn thing without 1 -4 [unless you SEO strategy is designed to be a solid bottomfeeder] and whenever someone says something that falls in at 7 - 9 - don't waste your time arguing with them... send them to this thread... and ask them to post... if they can make me eat my words... that's advice worth following.

Perhaps, that's the reason why he created a new profile. Or maybe he forgot his email address...
