Question SEF URLS' Help
Hello, I am new to this wonderful world of SEO and looking foward to learning as much infomation as I can Please forgive me if this has already been covered but I would like some advice on the following format for my SEF URL's below are some examples and I would like your help/advice on the best format to follow.
What I am looking for is the best URL structure to follow for article section with in my site, for article detail page.

1. sitename/articles/article-category/article-title/
2. sitenmae/articles/article-title/

For the article page it's self is it best to include the category as well in the URL?

You can use the sitename/articles/article-category/article-title/ - no problem, just gives more room for your keywords, if they are competitive.

Just maybe try to make the URL not too long.
Id maybe even get rid of the /article/ part.. Maybe do it
sitename/article-category ( such as "fishing articles" just to make sure "article" is in) /article-title/

I was thinking like this...

Article landing page = /articles/

Article category page = articles/fishing-articles/

Article detail page = articles/fishing-rods/

do you think this is a good structure?
