LOL! The idea was that to open a website with a paypal account for donations to hire the best lawyers in here to sue the municipality , government and the other monopolist foundations.

Well anyway I've liked this idea much and can be used in every situations with the usage of emotions like anger or mercy, sympahty etc. If it really works when I use the idea oneday I won't skip the idea owner trust me =D

I have seen people deriving traffic from freakin rumours. Someday or the other i can see SBM sites for some new eyeball catcher for example:

PS3 Laptop made and is ready to come in market - Where is it? Just on some one else's blog or may be in imaginations.

But hell, the traffic soars up to high values with those rumors even.. Creating Suspense and gathering attention is yet another part of a Viral marketing campaign.. If you think all this is limited, then i am sorry, you cannot create a brand.



@ Search_Pink: You dont have to brainstorm viral marketing campaigns, but you have to brainstorm the Ideas, Do a feasibility analysis for all the ideas, and select the best one.

When i say Brainstorm: It actually means - Develop multiple Ideas for a problem.

Problem can be defined as : How to get traffic?

Now think of what so ever you can think on, In a group preferrably, and collect allt he ideas.. even the weird ones.. implement it in accordance to your budget and feasibility and watch your campaign become a success.

One Most Important Thing: Your Idea Should be unique, if you copy some one's Idea, Then it will not be worth the effort, because, People Tend To Become immune to such things

You are right to some extent about that rumour thing, but somehow i cant push myself to exploit people in such ways.
Those who think money can do anything, will do anything for money. I may sound conservative but .....

SEO is other name of marketing any brand in my opinion and sales and marketing is what makes one brand popular or vice versa. Therefore, the popular brand have to keep an eye and ears open.
