I have a portfolio website that is mostly image based at the moment, I am in the process are restructuring the images into more individual pages and I would appreciate some advice. At the moment I have a couple of main portfolio pages with no sub categories. E.g...

etc...
I would like to create new pages for specific projects, the new pages will hold less images however they would include images in the main page.

I feel that currently my main galleries hold to many images, this not only causes the pages to load slower, but I also have less space to add written information and the typical on page SEO stuff. I could just remove the main pages however I feel this would separate the content to much. I hope this is clear, basically I have an image that would be on a main and sub page, should I change the (title, alt, p) wrapped around the images on the separate pages or will I be ok to duplicates?
Not sure if i can link to my site but my name is the domain name, thanks in advance for any advice. I have done searched but more of the threads seem to be concentrates of duplicate pages and articles.
