Revist metatag - how many min. days?

hi to all,

hope u all are fine,

I used to update some links of my site on daily basis,

so should i have to create revist meta tag for those links like :
<META NAME="revisit-after" CONTENT="1 days">

so will robot visit in my links on daily basis???

and will it be necessery for me to update those links daily & compulsory (without missing)

if i can't put this meta tag then how many minimum days, i have to specified in meta tags??

this Tag is ignored by mostly all Search Engines! You dont need it, becuase its only ballast. If you do regulary Changes on youre Page the SPiders will see and remember it. That means the more changes you do on youre Page the ofeten the spiders will visit.

And you cant tell the Spider come every day to visit my Site with an Meta Tag.

firestarter-de is quite correct. All major and even most minor search engines ignore this Meta Tag.

If you think about it - if all sites add it with a guaranteed crawl rate of "daily" search engines could not handle that level of return -thus "bot - please ignore" ;)
