Registering Domain Names

Hi all,

I hope this is the right forum for this question.

What are the rules again on registering? I knowo the max amount of characters is 55, but should it be one long string of words or is it better for the SEs to use _ underscores in between the words?

Thanks so much & have a great Monday

Michelle

I use underscores to seperate my keywords in my URL. Some here say it helps google.

I don't think you are allowed to use underscores in domain names actually. you can use them in file names, but not domain names. also, underscores don't seperate your keywords, they bunch them together. a hyphen would seperate them.
