    Regarding Canonical tags?


    Hi All,

    My wesite is live in two version .com and index.html so Googlebot will consider as a duplicate page and can i use canonical tag for this, if anybody know about this please suggest me it would be great-full

    Yes, you can absolutely use canonical links for this purpose, it is a best practice. Also, pick the canonical form of the URL and always use it for onsite and offsite linking.

    As an alternative, you could do a 301 redirect.
