Rank differs if used 'in'

For one of my key phrases, if i use "in" between my keyphrase, then my site goes to third page (otherwise it is in first page).

How to fix this?

When you will put "in" between your key phrase, it will become a new key phrase and difference in ranking is normal in that case.

Differentiates the traffic ratio between both keyword with "In" and without "In" .
analyse which one could be best for you and your site. if it is without "In" then no problem. If it is with "In" then do some more work on that keyword like use it that keyword in URL and anchor text. you are on good position on that keyword too so it will not take much time.

best of luck

using "in" between your kws is not bad if you are using a long tail kws,IMO it's not bad to use stuff words in your kws.
