Question about Keyword Density?

First, I'd like to say Happy Thanksgiving & Happy Holidays to all!
I noticed my The entire Web page has a total keyword density of 6.43%, should I lower it below 6%. I'm fairly new new to keyword optimzation and was told, if the entire page is above 6% you risk being banned from Google for keyword spamming? Any help would be great appreciated.

NO NO NO. You definitely will never be banned for having a kw density over 6%.
Nobody knows what is the magic KW density to get you to the top of Google Serps, but frankly, i no longer believe in such a thing.
Just write naturally, use your keywords, and then let the links do that talking!

One of my page currently appears on page 2 for a term that doesn't actually appear on my page AT ALL. When you open the cache version in Google, Google displays the message.. "This term only appears in links pointing to this page"

If it's not to much trouble, according to these stats does everything look okay?

1. Our analysis found a total of 940 indexable words in this document based on your processing selections
2. The entire Web page has a total keyword density of 7.23%
3. The TITLE Tag has a total keyword density of 57.14% and has a page density of 0.42%
4. The META Description Tag was not processed
5. The META Keywords Tag was not processed
6. The ALT IMG Link Tags have a total keyword density of 9.52% and has a page density of 0.21%
