Most hosting companies provide Softaculous or Installatron. Its in the cpanel. It does all the database configuration and so on.. you just fill in the blanks. Takes maybe 20 to 30 minutes 1st time if you have never done it.
If you have never failed in your life, you have never achieved anything Noteworthy !

I don't know if I have the syntax right on this, but it said "server error" after I uploaded it, so I had to revert to the old one:

    Code:
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^http://www.denverprocessservers.net[NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://denverprocessservers.net] /$1 [L,R=301]

I'm still far from convinced that WP is a good idea. Because I'm inexperienced with it, and it involves a lot of server stuff that I have no idea how to do, I'm very cautious about getting into it - especially paying someone to do it. If it was really easy for me to set up, in 5 minutes, like they claim, I would do that first, and THEN if that was true, perhaps pay to have it done.

Meanwhile, I made a lot of the changes suggested in this forum and seem to have gotten it to work on my phone too, but still don't know how to do the htaccess file and do that redirect for www to non-www with https. Here's my htaccess file that was suggested by GTmetrix 2 years ago, with the recently suggested redirect on top, but that redirect causes a server error, and I had to remove it. If any of the rest of it is hurting me, I'd appreciate help with that too:

    Code:
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^http://www.denverprocessservers.net [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://denverprocessservers.net/$1 [L,R=301]

Thanks Test-ok. Here's the first kink:

    Requirements

To run WordPress we recommend your host supports:

    • PHP version 7.2 or greater
    • MySQL version 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB version 10.0 or greater
    • HTTPS support

We recommend Apache or Nginx as the most robust and featureful server for running WordPress, but any server that supports PHP and MySQL will do.

Note: If you are in a legacy environment where you only have older PHP or MySQL versions, WordPress also works with PHP 5.2.4+ and MySQL 5.0+, but these versions have reached official End Of Life and as such may expose your site to security vulnerabilities.

    I have NO idea.

You must have good eyes. I can't find that. I did notice they haven't update their copyright info in the footer in nearly 4 years.

It also looks like you can do it from their application vault, which I can't see.

Hi guys. Business has been worrisome slow and I still don't have the money for a redesign, so I did the best I could, to improve the current site. Need to improve the SEO for it, thought, so we can get more business and do a redesign.

Might you offer any suggestions for that, on the current site at https://denverprocessservers.net/ ?

    Thanks!
