hey guys, i've been reading a lot seo and currently am still studying its processes. yet i still have certain concerns:
- seo do's and dont's - standards for graphics / images - what good search engines to submit to and how frequent should i submit until the site gets indexed? - are there tools used? (eg. web ceo)and how good and reliable are they? - many say that its an on-going process, what should be done during the waiting period from you site submition til it gets indexed and what shoul be done after the site has been indexed? - max allowed keywords / key phrases to be submitted and how often are these submitted? i'm really new at this and am really trying to catch on on such knowledge. hope i made sense...tnx |

That's a lot of questions covering a lot of ground. I don't think anyone is going to type a thesis for you.
Have you read all of the topics that donna has collected? http://forums.seochat.com/t8704/s.html I also suggest using the search feature on this site... upper right corner... because lots of these topics have been covered in copious detail before on this forum. If you have questions that you can't find feel welcome to post - but only after research. If after searching you can't find the answer, then that is the time to ask. But post a single question that you really can't find the answer for and give us your current level of understanding on that topic. We love to take a shot at questions but you will get best response if you do your homework first.

I would start by reading Donna's stuff
Her newbie post answers a lot of questions. Then I would start reading regularly and ask questions but don't ask for the entire search engine manual. First of all there isn't one and secondly no one has time to write that much. You will get lots of different opinions on how to optomize. Try them out one at a time. Don't try everything at once because you won't be able to see what works and what doesn't. As far as submitting I would just submit to the big ones and thats it. But the truth is my newest site I never submitted. If you get links pointing to your site you don't even have to submit.
I would also highly recommend Donna's blog. I read it all the time. There is a lot of great info on there. http://www.seo-scoop.com/ Keep reading and you will get it figured out. Too many people join here and when they don't get it all answered in their first post disapear. Stick around that is my best tip for you! |
