    Nope, it's perfectly fine.

    Although the value of each link will be divided so there's no real benefit either, other than improving UX.

    AS Ivan mentions, the link juice is divided, but only one link to the same destination will pass juice. So you would actually receive more link juice by only linking once.

    Once is all you need, additional links is a waste of juice.

    What is happening with your site's internal navigation links?

    There is a site discussed in another forum post that has 300 internal site navigation links on every page. In a page linking environment like that, 2-3 extra internal links is unlikely to have a significant impact on how link juice is passed.

    I agree with John, as the OP puts it the situation is probably a grid of products or posts where each item is represented by a Title, a Picture and a Caption. People may click any of those three elements. Good UX will call for making everything clickable. Good SEO says one link. So good programming is your answer - Make the whole thing clickable with script and Put a link on the title element only. That addresses the dilemma of UX, SEO and United Nations Security Council. (imma joking)
    <ul>
    <li onclick=OpenLink();>
    <h4><a>Title here</a></h4>
    <img>
    <div>Caption</div>
    </li>
    </ul>
