Exclamation Need Contributors for Search Monitoring Project

As many of you know, I created the sandbox detection tool to help SEOs see their results across the engines and determine whether the filter we call 'sandbox' has been affecting you. I'd like to take this project to a much deeper level - actual monitoring of every possible measurable piece of data about each site that receives a high sandbox score and the corresponding sites that rank well for those keywords. Hopefully through a mass of data we can uncover some truths.

I'm requesting the individuals PM me their 'sandboxed' sites. Please make sure that it truly is 'sandboxed' by confirming that you rank in positions 1-3 at Yahoo!, Google, MSN & for the allin sets of searches at Google. You can also use the sandbox tool (in my signature) to see if you rank at more than 75%. I believe it's much more preferable and honorable to request this information, rather than simply collecting it in secret when people use the tool (I considered this idea, but summarily rejected it as too invasive). So, you can still use the tool completely anonymously.

If you do send me your site and keyword terms I promise NEVER to reveal them in public and to only use them in aggregate for the results of the survey. IF, there is occasion where I would like to publicize an example of either your site or your kw phrase, I will request it from you first and you are welcome to say no. Please, also make sure you have your clients' permission to share with me.

I cannot disclose what factors will be measured right now, because I'm fearful the SEs will turn off my ability to monitor some of them automatically. However, it will be far more thorough than any of the tools currently available on my site or any other (that I'm aware of). The construction of the survey will take between 3 and 6 weeks and we will let it run for at least 3 months, updating you with results.

If you decide to participate, you'll be privvy to any early results, but the aggregate results will be released to the community as soon as there is enough information to start making predictions. IF (and I doubt it's too likely) the results appear to be so useful and incredible that releasing them could trigger a backlash from the SEs (in order to fight our newfound knowledge), I will keep the data secure and release passwords to individual SEOs on this forum (and SEW).

I know that this sounds like a monumental task, and it is. However, I am prepared. I have funding from a client who will be sponsoring this research in order to help boost their own results, and I have an excellent developer (the same one who built the tools) creating the survey system. I will be monitoring thousands of pieces of information about every site and a sample of several hundred of each of their links, including some very cool stuff that we have not discussed on this forum. Please consider contributing by sending me a PM with your sandboxed site, your targeted keyword phrase, and your email address (so I can send you a username & password later).

Thanks SEOChat community - you guys rock!

Very ambitious, rand! I can't participate, unfortunately, but I have faith that you'll come up with some extremely interesting information. Good luck!

Ouch... No responses at all...
Hopefully it's just a slow day.
