I reckon that it is a great idea to have a forum or blog on your site and get people to debate anything they want. This boosts your search engine ranking and is also a great place to put Google Ads.

Have you check google.com for the search results of "doorway page" ? Try reading and understand then ask questions in this forum after that.

Jonagik disagrees: This forum is supposed to be a place of learning and discussing - the stuff on google could be
incorrect as long as the person can get a high ranking whereas the chance of the info here being
quality is much higher

Its tough to say why your site is ranking well in yahoo but not in Google.
But regarding consideration -
Google always consider relevancy
Yahoo consider the on page factors, whether it is relevant or not that doesn't matter.Age may be a factor in yahoo.

My site also ranks better in yahoo than google but google brings me 30 times more traffic. Is this the same for you and if it is then maybe it doesn't matter about how you rank.

Sure thing... a pdf is just another format like html, php, asp, etc.

Examples:

age differences in relationships

Cross-Cultural Relationship

Brilliant. Do you just host them and index them the same way as a normal webpage

Yup. The only real issue is considering a rank pdf clicked to isn't in your normal website navigation so it's good to apply you main navigation as a top, side, or bottom of page bar.

If a search engine user clicks to a pdf - how do they take the next step?

Most pdf documents are not designed with 'back to domain navigation' in mind.

...an example of 'what to do' is included in the link about [age difference reference]
